5 star workers hustling full speed ahead even when during the slower periods. The busiest crew and the cleanest store I've been inside of in quite some time. With a sense of urgency they took, prepared, served, and cleaned up after us as we enjoyed fresh tasting taco salads and milkshakes so good I would have sworn they where from my favorite dairy queen, also in Sparta, IL. Full menu available anytime in a family friendly environment, at a fair price, from a crew that puts the whole experience together for you. So fantastic we're certain to return.

Great diner food at a reasonable price. Very friendly, hard working staff. I will definitely stop in again next time through. My country fried steak dinner was 10.01 after taxes. Great prices across the board, as you can see in the pictures.

BIG MENU but what I had was of great quality. Bacon egg cheeseburger, mozza sticks, and cheese fries. All were absolutely delicious. This place is a goldmine! DELICIOUS
We are in town for the grand american trap shoot for 10 days every year. Stopped here everyday for breakfast and several days for lunch. Route 4 has everything you want out of a restaurant. As you pull up the parking lot is clean and orderly. Lobby windows are clean. Dining area never has a dirty table. Bathrooms are always clean. Prompt service and super friendly staff. Every staff member gives a genuine smile as they make eye contact with you. Food is great and prices are lower than you would expect. While dining you can observe many local folks coming and going and the staff knows many of them by name. Finally when you leave they thank you for coming and you sense they really appreciate your business. See you next year!
Owner family is wonderful! Food is always great. We come mostly for the catfish and bluefish, but everything we've tried has been delicious! During the 2 1/2 weeks of the AIM Grand and the Grand American, you should stay open for dinner... a lot of the folks attending those events aren't finished in time to get to you before you close at 4:00 but would really love to come sit, eat dinner and relax a bit.
Great place to eat! Priced right we went for breakfast that you can get anytime. Can't wait to go for lunch.
